What brands of anti-wrinkle toxin does Pre- use?

At Pre, we understand that you may have received neurotoxin treatment from another provider; that's why, after a careful and in-depth discussion with your practitioner, we will decide between Botox and Azzalure. While both products function similarly, one may offer specific advantages tailored to your needs. That's why we prioritise getting to know you and your requirements, ensuring that we tailor a personalised treatment plan to achieve optimal results.

What's the difference between Prevent and Correct?

"Prevent" refers to using neurotoxin treatments proactively to prevent the formation of wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles. "Correct" involves using neurotoxins to reduce the appearance of existing wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause them. As part of the "Correct" plan, you can benefit from treatments such as jaw slimming and a neck lift; because these muscles are big and robust and require more product for optimal relaxation.

What areas do you we treat?

Anti-wrinkle treatments are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face. In order to achieve remarkable results, we focus on three main areas, but as all treatments are custom the exact locations will be dependent on your individual needs:

1. Forehead - Lines that show when you raise your brow
2. Between the Eyebrows - Frown lines, known also as "elevens"
3. Crow’s Feet - Eye lines that show while smiling or squinting

How should I prepare for my treatment?

You should avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication for at least 24 hours beforehand, unless prescribed or instructed by your doctor. To prevent the risk of treatment migration, avoid lying down at least 4 hours after your anti-wrinkle injection treatment, and postpone vigorous exercise for the next 24 hours. Cleanse your face as gently as possible during the next 24 hours.

Are there any side effects?

There are very few side effects but bruising and mild redness/swelling at the injection sites are the most common side effects, which are temporary and subside within 30mins-1hr. Our practitioners are happy to discuss any and all treatment concerns during your consultation.

Are Anti-Wrinkle treatment top-ups complimentary?

If you are a first time client, our practitioners will treat you with the dosage of neurotoxin according to the treatment you have booked and your desired results. However, at the 14 day point, you may find that some of your muscles may not have totally relaxed. In this instance you may book a review appointment where photographs will be taken to compare your before and after results. If additional treatment is required and approved by the practitioner, this will be given free of charge. Once you're a returning client, your dosage and positioning from the last appointment will be matched to continue those great results, every time.

Are Anti-Wrinkle injections safe?

When administered by our experienced aesthetic practitioners, neurotoxin treatments are very safe. We use premium products from trusted brands (Botox and Azzalure), which have decades research and thorough safety profiles behind them. However, as with any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects, which will be discussed with you before treatment.

How do Botox and Azzalure work?

Neurotoxin temporarily blocks nerve signals to the muscles, preventing them from contracting. This results in a temporary relaxation of the treated muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines caused by muscle movement. This is a temporary relaxation and after 3-6 months the muscles regain movement.

Will Anti-Wrinkle injections get rid of my frown lines?

Neurotoxin can effectively reduce the appearance of frown lines (also known as glabellar lines) by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for their formation. This does depend on person to person, and deep frown lines and any other wrinkles may benefit from additional treatment to help boost collagen into the tissues.

Do Anti-Wrinkle injections work instantly?

While some clients may notice initial results within a few days, the full effects of customtox treatments typically become apparent within 14 days after the injection. Results may vary depending on individual response and treatment area.

How often do I need Anti-Wrinkle injections?

The frequency of Anti-Wrinkle treatments varies depending on individual factors such as metabolism, muscle activity, and treatment goals. Generally, neurotoxin treatments last 3-6 months, therefore maintenance treatments are typically needed to sustain results over time.
